Lots to do within walking distance. Grocery store within walking distance allowed us to cook many meals at the house. Teenage girls loved the public beach right next door. The pool and grounds were perfect. We loved being able to transition from ocean to pool and back again quickly. He was proactive and prompt in responses and clear directions and very accommodating, especially with our check in and check out times, which were outside of hours. Once we arrived to the Airbnb, our stay was more than we could’ve hoped for. Travelling with my family of 7, we all have different travel styles but we all loved this Airbnb for the wide space which was enough for each of us to have our own privacy, the cleanliness, the location, the pool is amazing and even more amazing being right beside the beautiful beach as well. I can’t fault anything and with that said, thank you so much again to you Henri for allowing my family to stay in your beautiful home in the beautiful paradise island of Tahiti. Sweltering, closed up, with glaring incandescent lights, the house looked — and felt — pretty awful. The pictures in the listing accurately show that some of the decor is a bit dated, but they don’t show the stains on the ceiling, or the rust on the mirrors, or the lingering smell of tobacco smoke that was in the bedrooms and hallways, or how on its last legs the ancient washing machine is, or…But I ended up giving the place a 5, and I would rent it again in a heartbeat. Because once you open the house up and turn off the overhead lights and experience the beautiful front and back yards and the beach and the pool and the grill, it is simply an AMAZING, magical place.Henri was a great host, and the house was stocked with almost everything a guest could want. The house slept 7 of us well, and opens up to a great pool and ocean view. Was fun to open the kitchen to the ocean view and cook dinner. Great spot if you hire a car to drive to Marina, Papeete city or down the Coast. Public beach area Plage Vaiava next door which was closed in the evening so still very private but with access to the sandy beach and snorkeling trail. Kitchen very well equipped with appliances, crockery and cutlery.
